About

Few facts about me:

I consider myself a story teller hence the name of the blog.

Next to my love of Jesus, Cam, and family is an ongoing affair with words. Words, words, word—writing them, in books, in life, to play with, to listen to, and to resonate with other human beings.

Also, food and traveling. 19 countries and counting…

I was born in Kenya, and moved to the States at 10 years old.

I’d rather have a savory than sweet treat any day.

My husband says I’m perky and weird. I’ll take it.

I love dry and clever humor.

I’m fascinated by airports, mostly because I enjoy people watching and because they always mean a new adventure.

My favorite people to be around are passionate people–you know, those people who really seem to be aware of who they are and becoming.

I’m turning 30 in April, and my desire for my third decade is to stop being afraid.

Sometimes I feel like a complete mess and fraud in this journey of life, but Jesus has and is leading me to a journey to authenticity.

I’m Murugi
